     Thomas Darnall was born on 24 May 1799 in Washington County, Maryland.¹ He was a businessman.¹ He was the son of Charles Darnall and Martha Cunningham.^2,1 Thomas Darnall married Lucinda Jane Armstrong, daughter of William Armstrong and Justena LeForgee, on 19 January 1826.¹ Thomas Darnall died on 12 July 1881 in Elizaville, Fleming County, Kentucky, at age 82.¹ He was buried in Flemingsburg Cemetery, Fleming County, Kentucky.^1,3 He was a prominent businessman in the Fleming Co. area. He was the former owner and possible builder of the house near Flemingsburg. He has a large monument in the Flemingsburg Cemetery surrounded by many of his children and grandchildren.¹
