Lewis Gordon Jenkins and Sarah Griffith Pigman.1 Lewis Gordon Jenkins was a schoolteacher in 1870 in Ripley, Brown County, Ohio.1 He died on 29 November 1880 in Brown County, Ohio. He died of consumption (tuberculosis.)2 He was buried in Maplewood Cemetery, Ripley, Brown County, Ohio.3

     Joshua Quaintance was born on 14 July 1822 in Fleming County, Kentucky.2,3 He was the son of William Quaintance and Sabra Southard.1 Joshua Quaintance died on 16 February 1833 in Fleming County at age 10. Given the date, it is highly possible that he died in the same cholera epidemic that took his mother just a few months later.3 He was buried in the Quaintance cemetery, Fleming County, Kentucky.3
