     Robert Armstrong was born in 1723 in Virginia. He was the son of Robert Armstrong and Lydia Louden. Robert Armstrong married Jane Jameson, daughter of John Jameson and Jane Irwin, circa 1765 in Augusta County, Virginia. Robert Armstrong was in military service in the Revolutionary War.1 He died on 30 April 1811 in Fleming County, Kentucky.1 He was buried in Brick Union Cemetery, Fleming County, Kentucky.1,2 The copy of his will is notable in that he leaves the services of one of his slaves to his wife -- one example of the use of slaves on the farms in Kentucky.3

     Abram LeForgee was also known as Abraham LeForge.1 He was born in 1740 in Middlesex County, New Jersey. He was the son of Abraham LeForge and (?) (?) Abram LeForgee was in military service in the Revolutionary War between 1776 and 1782. He had the rank of Ensign in Capt. Thomas Parkeson's company of militia, battalion of Washington County, commanded by Col. Thomas Crooks. In 1782, he was in Capt. Rose's militia company.2 He married Johannah Ayres circa 1778.1 Abram LeForgee died on 31 August 1803 in Fleming County, Kentucky. He was buried in Brick Union Cemetery, Fleming County, Kentucky.3
