This is the marker of Jonathan Stout, who was married to Keziah (Stout) Gordon's sister, Rachel Stout. They were 2nd cousins, thus the same surnames. This stone is part of the Lewis Gordon family plot, although Rachel does not appear to have been buried here.

Rubine was the daughter of Lucinda (Anderson) Allen, Peter Gordon's cousin in Frankfort. Two of her letters are found in the Gordon Family Papers collection. This grave is in the McReynolds family cemetery.
